I ordered a whole order of duck fried rice, chicken wings, crab rangoon and a chicken St. Paul. All excellent choices. Tab was $26, very reasonably priced in my opinion. Not a lot of parking. I read previous reviews saying that so I called my order in about 15 minutes before. Food was ready by time I got to the window and paid. Good food. No complaints.
I had some of the best chinese food in world being from Chicago... and Eastside ranks with the best of them. I ordered the large special egg foo young and the large special fried rice... It was so good I didn't even take a picture. Full of meat and gravy for the egg foo Yung was good too. You know every chinese place can't make that gravy right! Eastside's was bomb 💣 I gotta let you know it's in the hood, east st. Louis at its finest. Not many parking spots, you gotta park on the side street, the vestibule where you order is small too. But the whole experience is worth it to get some good chinese food, Trust me you won't be disappointed
I have visit this restaurant in the past when I was in St Louis. I love to bring it back to Central Illinois to my family because our area does not have good Chinese food. The customer service was below average. They don’t really greet you and make you feel like they appreciate you patronizing their business. There is no place to really park. This visit the food was ok and I have had better from previous visits. It is really hard to get to the menu because it is on the counter right in front of the register and people are standing there arguing with cashier about their orders being messed up.
The best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had! Get the wasted rice!
It was good! Best crab rangoons around. Rice was good too. I ate it the next day with gravy. It was good reheated with the gravy. The St Paul was good too. I will definitely be back.
